SCRR Training Run

Gathering restrictions in Allegheny County have been loosened to align with the rest of Pennsylvania. This means that outdoor group running is BACK, with plans to host a Saturday run this Saturday, May 8, 2021 (date is subject to change in accordance with local guidelines). This run will be capped at 50 people. In the event that we reach capacity a 2nd, later start time Saturday morning will be made available. The safety of all of our runners is our top priority, and we are working very closely with UPMC Sports Medicine to host a safe and fun training run for all who attend. We are looking forward to welcoming you back to a Saturday run!

This run will be for SCRR members only and registration at least 24 hours prior to the event is required. Below are important guidelines and protocols, which must be followed for everyone's health and safety.

• Registration is only available for active SCRR members.
• Registration will close at 7am on Friday, 5/7/21 and day of registration is not allowed.
• Check-in will start at 8:00am and the run will start at 8:30am.
• 3-Mile, 6-Mile and 8-Mile routes will be offered.
• There will not be pace leaders. Small groups of people will be released by pace.
• There will not be paper maps. Runners can view the route using RunGo or download and print the route located in the confirmation email.
• All attendees will be required to complete a brief health questionnaire within 24 hours of the event. This will be emailed to all participants on Friday and must be completed prior to arrival on Saturday.
• In accordance with state guidelines, when outdoors, a mask must be worn if you are not able to remain physically distant (at least 6 feet away) from someone not in your household the entire time you are outdoors. Masks are required at all times while in the parking lot area.
• All attendees must bring their own hydration and nutrition.
• 810 River Ave will not be open and restrooms are not available onsite.
• We ask that all attendees leave the parking lot/area once they return from the run.

FREE parking is available onsite, but is limited, please allot time for morning travel and parking. Parking is available in the three highlighted lots below.
