Florida Compassion Foundation for benefit of the Venice High School Band

The Florida Compassion Foundation is raising funds for the Venice High School Band Program un director David Wing.   Our goal is $20,000.  The Venice High School Band program is a proud member of the Venice High School Performing Arts Department. The Band program is comprised of the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, and the Marching Indians. The Ensembles of the VHS Band Programs perform the music of the highest caliber at all performances and events. The Band program prepares students for a variety of musical and nonmusical skills, opportunities, and life-changing experiences.  The ensembles in the Band program maintain a busy performance schedule each year, performing at Music Performance Assessments, Concerts, Parades, Football Games and Competitions,  and other community and fundraising events.  The Band program has earned accolades at the District and State level in all its years in existence and is a staple and source of pride in the Venice community and in Southwest Florida.
