2021 Whipper Snapper Races

The Whipper Snapper races are FREE and open to all children 14 years old and under.

The 2021 races will be an “own your event,” meaning kids and their families can join us at Bayfront Festival Park in Duluth anytime between 11:00am and 2:00pm to complete their race.

Participants can choose between pre-marked courses of different distances, depending on age and skill level. Courses of 100 meters, 200 meters, and 400 meters will be marked.

All participants receive a ribbon and a goodie bag at the completion of their race.

NOTE: Masks or face coverings are strongly encouraged at all times during the Whipper Snapper Races and Grandma's Marathon weekend, regardless of vaccination status.
