Strength & Mobility for Runners
Strength & Mobility for Runners is a twice-a-week in-person class that utilizes principles of strength training, mobility practice, and HIIT to improve your running, build overall fitness, and prevent injury. This class will combine fitness with fun to help new runners, retired runners, or veteran runners become stronger and more confident athletes. All shapes, sizes, and levels welcome! Coaches will tailor workouts to your individual ability level.
Classes are held twice a week, Monday and Thursday, at 6:00 PM at Doc Oliver Field at Land Park. Monday classes focus on strength and mobility. Thursday classes are HIIT style and focus on endurance and powerful movements.
Yoga mats, light weights (no more than 10lbs), and resistance bands are recommended.
