VIRTUAL Best Dam 5K

The virtual event will be open until 11/30/21. Participants will log their own times with the support of running apps or GPS to record and send it to us for an official time. Participants may do either a 5K run or 5K walk. Virtual participants in the surrounding area of Downsville, NY are encouraged to run the regular route of the race. Virtual event participants will receive a race shirt with their registration as long as it is completed before 10/25/21.

HOW TO REGISTER:

You may register online at the race roster website. Online registration will close 2 days before the event online. 'Early' registration will end on 10/25/21, participants that register after this date may or may not receive race swag. Virtual participants must complete the race and send their time before the end of day on 11/30/21 to be entered in the final results.

ENTRY FEES & PAYMENT:

Credit cards are accepted for online registration through Race Roster.

5K RUN or WALK

$30 for Adults (18 yrs. & over)

$20 for Children (17 yrs. & under)

15% off for group or family of 5 or more (1 participant must be 18 or over)

Awards will be given in the categories below:

5K Walk: Top 2 adult walkers (male or female), Top 2 child walkers (male or female)

5K Run: 1st/2nd wise men (65+), 1st/2nd wise women (65+), 1st/2nd men (18-64), 1st/2nd women (18-64), 1st/2nd teen boys (11-17), 1st/2nd teen girls (11-17), 1st/2nd boy (10 and under), 1st/2nd girl (10 and under)

The awards will be distributed to racers after the event closes on November 30th, 2021. Virtual winners will be mailed any prizes. Results will be posted online on this website and social media platforms.
