The Essex Region Conservation Bike Tour returns to raise funds for conservation initiatives across the Essex Region! Throughout multiple lockdowns, people flocked to conservation areas and trails in unprecedented numbers. Show your love for for these special placed by joining us on Saturday, September 25, 2021, to ride in support of conservation!
The Essex Region Conservation Bike Tour incorporates all the sights of summer, whether you are touring through picturesque county roads and along historic County Road 50, or meandering the off-road nature trail on the Chrysler Canada and Cypher Systems Group Greenways, this event is not to be missed. Back by popular demand, all routes will begin and end at Mettawas Park in Kingsville, and will include a delicious locally sourced lunch.
Participant and Volunteer Safety is paramount, and a number of protocols will be required this year. These include:
- choosing a 'wave' time upon registration (maximum waves of 10)
- requiring masks in common areas such as registration area and rest stops
- no congregating in groups greater than 10
- providing a delicious 'Grab and Go' lunch provided by The Hub
- other safety protocols as determined
