This event was created to celebrate Greg Wirgau's life on one of his favorite days- Thanksgiving Day Lion's game. Throughout the race we have many adult fun stations, giveaways, and prizes for the first place finishers. It is a great day for participants of all ages. We are adult, kid, and dog friendly. Greg is missed every day by many and it means the world to his family and friends that people chose to celebrate his life by participating in this race annually. Thank you for your continued support. All proceeds go to scholarships for high school students going into the trades from Chesaning High School, as well as important community activities in Chesaning. Whether it is your first time, or your fourth time, you become part of our family as you run, walk, or crawl through Chesaning. See you at 8:00am Thanksgiving Day morning at Chesaning's Showboat Park!
