Put that UGLY sweater to good use on Saturday, December 11th and join Friends of the Met CAC for our 3rd annual Ugly Sweater 5K in Forest Acres, SC! Proceeds and donations will benefit Friends of the Met CAC, a non-profit organization established to support the mission of the Metropolitan Children’s Advocacy Center (Met CAC), a program of the South Carolina Department of Mental Health (SCDMH).
Located in the heart of Forest Acres, the Met CAC provides services to children of all ages who are suspected victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, and other types of maltreatment.
The race will be officially timed by SVETiming and the course is USATF Certified SC16070DW. Be sure to hang around after the race and enjoy a holiday themed awards celebration.
Runners and walkers are invited to wear your ugliest holiday sweater and an award for ugliest holiday sweater (or ensemble) will be given!
UPDATE: Packet Pick-up is on Friday, December 10, 2021 between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at Fleet Feet Forest Acres, 4525 Forest Drive, Columbia, SC 29206 or on race day between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. at Forest Lake Gardens. **Unfortunately due to shipping concerns, participants who register after 11/25/2021 will not be guaranteed a t-shirt, but we will do our best!
Divisions covered: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and up. Awards to the top finishers in each division as well as the participant with the ugliest holiday sweater or ensemble.
**Shirts guaranteed for those registered on or before Monday, December 1, 2021.
Packet Pickup will be at Fleet Feet Forest Acres on Friday, 12/10/2021 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
