My Story…
This year, I will be participating in the Mississauga Marathon 2km Walk to raise money for the Mississauga Festival Choir, a group that I have been singing with for several years now.
Contributions will help support our Raising Voices program. Working in conjunction with Alzheimer Society Peel, this program is designed to help bring music back into the lives of individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia.
As well, monies raised will help support our youth & young adult choir, Resonance that is cultivating new emerging musical talent in our local community.
Please donate generously to this wonderful organization!
Regards,
Joe
Description
We value inclusivity, and aim to give people a safe place to come and sing in our community. Our spirited singing springs from our no-audition policy. Everyone who loves to sing is welcome to join us, and audiences hear the joy in every song. Within our organization we also have a youth choir called "Resonance" and choir program called "Raising Voices" for individuals with dementia including Alzheimer’s Disease, their caregivers and volunteers. Help us support these wonderful programs for our community!
