Help us raise money

For participating in 2022 Mississauga Marathon

Our story…

Choral music celebrates community.

The singers are not soloists, but members of a close-knit team. The sound they make together is greater than the sum of each individual voice. And there are health benefits, too: Recent scholarly research in the United States, Wales and Sweden shows that when choir members sing together, their heartbeats synchronize, and they are better able to combat pain, stress and disease.

GPC is celebrating 99 years of choral singing!

On April 30th, 2022 The Grand Philharmonic Choir will be participating in the Mississauga Marathon for the fifth time. As you remember from last year, the fundraising event was extremely successful and raised $18,000 for our choir.

Everyone involved found it an easy and fun way to fundraise. The proximity of Mississauga made it so much more convenient and the Saturday night event gave us a chance to share a wonderful congratulatory meal afterward.

Please join us for the 2022 GPC5k !
