Our story…

On April 30th, Our team is participating in the Mississauga Marathon Charity Challenge in support of the work of Youth Unlimited in Etobicoke. More than 300 kids and teens participate in the programs that the South-Central Etobicoke team runs every year! Each of these programs is well-run, fun and welcoming, and heavily subsidized to ensure even the most vulnerable in our community can participate. They include the Lakeshore Soccer League, Young Moms program, day camps, youth leadership courses, initiatives to address food insecurity in the community, and more. The funds raised from the Charity Challenge will support staffing and program costs for the team.

Description

There are over 1 million young people in the Toronto Area alone. Youth Unlimited’s vision is to see every one of them transformed by God's love. Our hope is that by cultivating relationships with caring adults who will mentor and cheer them on, our young people will be able to bring about positive change to our city – both now and in the future. In order to come alongside young people to address their unique challenges and vulnerabilities, Youth Unlimited partners with local churches and organizations in grassroots programming to foster the wholistic transformation of young people and their communities.
