Help Amber raise money

This year I have chosen to run in support of the Mario Lemieux Foundation. To date, the Mario Lemieux Foundation as donated over $31 million towards cancer research, patient care, and supported local families as they navigate one of the most challenging times of their lives. Mario's wife, Nathalie Lemieux, has also created and established "Austin's Playroom." After spending significant time in the NICU with their son, Nathalie realized there was no where for them to entertain their daughters during their stay. Since then, they have opened multiple playrooms across the region: including UPMC Altoona.

As many know, my Nana Gailey is a breast cancer survivor. Almost 6 years cancer free, my Nana finished her last radiation treatment 1 week after losing her daughter-my mother. I absolutely admire her strength to continue fighting and pouring her heart and soul into her family. While I am so thankful for my Nana's recovery, I know many families are not as fortunate. That is why, over the next 8 months I would like to raise funds and awareness for The Mario Lemieux Foundation.
