Our story…
Some of you may know my nephew Caleb, or Caleb The Crusher as we call him. He's been playing baseball with Miracle League of the South Hills since he was eleven. He's 26 now, and there is no end to the amount of joy this organization brings to not just Caleb, but kids and young adults differently-abled all over Western PA.
Because of Miracle League, Caleb got to live out his dream of getting his very own try out with the Pirates, including his own jersey, hanging out with Bob Nutting and Derek Shelton, playing ball with all of the Pirates, and throwing out the first pitch. It was literally the best day of his life, and it never would have happened without Miracle League.
