2022 5 Peaks Trail Running Series: Canmore Nordic Centre #2

The Canmore Nordic Centre is Canada's premier cross country skiing and biathlon venue. Having hosted the nordic and biathlon events of the '88 Winter Olympics the Centre is host to regional, national and international events every winter.

*Please remember that the Nordic Centre requires that all racers carry bear spray during their run. This is a rule that applies to all events held at the Canmore Nordic Centre. If you have any questions about this, please call the Canmore Nordic Centre directly at 403-678-2400. Children are not required to carry bear spray. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation!

Grit - 19.8 km


Race distances are subject to change based on trail conditions up to the day of the race.

Finishers and volunteers will receive a stainless cup to enjoy a cold post-race beverage and many more hot and cold beverages in the future!

Important Notes

In the interest of racer safety and because of the size of our attendance and the technicality of our course, please do not bring the following on the race course:

No dogs
No headphones
No strollers or baby joggers
No nordic walking poles

Washrooms:
In the Day Lodge

Spectators:
Spectators are welcome. Spectators who cheer will be rewarded with smiles.


Parking:

Park in the main or overflow parking areas near the Day Lodge.

Awards & Prizes:
The awards ceremony will be held following the completion of all competitors. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each age category in all distances, as well as the top three male and female finishers overall. All awards must be picked up at the race and will not be mailed.

Important Notice:

As per Canmore Nordic Centre policy, all event participants must carry bear spray. As such, and beyond our control, we are requiring all of our sport, enduro and half marathon (September) participants to carry bear spray. Children participants in the 1 km and 3 km events are not required to carry bear spray but we will be providing additional volunteers (who will carry bear spray) to assist on these courses.

Fee Notes

1. All prices listed above are subject to sales tax. 5% GST in BC and Alberta and 13% HST in Ontario

2. An online processing fee will be applied to your registration into this event.

3. All funds payable in Canadian Dollars.

4. VISA, MC, Amex, and Discover Card accepted.

5. Your credit card statement will show a charge from Race Roster or Fast North Corp for your online registration into this event.
