Canada's Longest Running Marathon.

For 58 years, the Servus Calgary Marathon has been at the forefront of running in this country, attracting runners from all over the world to discover our city while staying true to our western roots and loyal to our homegrown runners.

A Hybrid Event in 2022

Participants will be able to choose between an in-person event on May 29, 2022 or the virtual race experience from May 29 to June 28, 2022.

All participants can fundraise for any of our 80+ charities through the Charity Challenge.

Refund Policy

Entry fees are non-refundable. No exceptions.
No race day registration or race changes. No refunds, transfers, medical comps or deferrals.
Run Calgary has partnered with RegShield and you can purchase a protection policy on your registration if you have to cancel or can't make the event. RegShield is a protection product made for athletes by athletes. It provides coverage for 17 different roadblocks. These are the reasons that most athletes are unable to compete in their events. Should the race not be able to go ahead because of local and provincial restrictions due to the pandemic or for any other reason, all registrants will automatically be converted into a virtual event.

Please note that each participant will be charged a processing fee, plus 5% GST tax in addition to the race entry fee.

Each child will receive two bibs - one for the child and one for the parent to retrieve their child at the end of the race. Parents are welcome to run with younger children.
