My Story…
Call it a midlife crisis or call it a journey to adventure and health, but after a 15 year hiatus from competitive swimming, I have registered for the Point to La Pointe open water swim this summer from Bayfield to Madeline Island. Follow along as I train from (let's be real) totally out of shape, to open water worthy by August. I will be raising money to support youth water programming in Bayfield County. Water sport as a youth was very important to me and now as an adult with a permanent knee injury, taking to the water is a way I can still care for my mind and body in a low impact way.
