Frosty Trails Running Festival

5K • 10K • 20K Relay • Shot Mile

The 2023 Frosty Trails Running Festival extreme trail races will take runners on a tour through the hilly terrain of Brown County, Indiana. Participants in this 100% trail running event will traverse the rugged grounds of the Hard Truth forest and should expect to meet some hard truths throughout the race — runners will be facing several steep hills, creek crossings, and all of the other fun things that come with getting out into nature.


20K Relay will start at 10 A.M.*

5K will start at 10:30 A.M.*

10K will start at 11 A.M*

Shot Mile will be at 12:30 P.M.

Join us for an after party at Hard Truth to enjoy a complimentary chili bar and live music! Every participant will get a drink ticket good for one Quaff ON! beer, a shot for your warm drink or non-alcoholic beverage.


*If you are under 18 and you sign up by January 1st, you will get $5 off.*

Discount will be automatically applied.


Packet pickup will be held from 5-9 P.M. in the Hard Truth basement the night before on Friday, January 13th. You will also be able to pickup your packet the morning of the event.


Sign up by January 5th to guarantee a shirt in your size!


*NOTE: DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE HARD TRUTH PROPERTY*

Shot Mile (21+) Closed

You may have heard of a beer mile, but here at Hard Truth, we do a shot mile! This course consists of three laps around the Hard Truth Hills pond and you'll be able to enjoy a mini-shot of Hard Truth Cinnamon Vodka after each lap! You must be 21 to sign up for this race. If you sign up for the Shot Mile, we will check your ID and give you a wristband when you pick up your packet.

  • Grab a few friends and come out for a relay! Each team member will run the 5K course one time. Come in costume and the best dressed team will receive a special prize! *Your team must consist of four people.*
