I am so happy to be able to run again in the Dash for Dogs event!
Supporting this group for another year as they provide dogs to veterans with PTSD, children with profound autism, and the visually impaired once again is so rewarding.
When Koa was younger, I very much thought he would benefit from a service dog; however, it takes two years to train and $35,000 for just one certified dog.
BC & Alberta Guide Dogs provides dogs to the visually impaired, autistic children, and veterans free of charge!
My heart is warmed to know there is something out there to support those in need.
You can register for the run (and join me and Koa on Team Starkiller) or show your support with a donation here until February 25th.
The goal of the entire event is to raise $25,000 and last year we managed $11,000. I have a bold personal goal, but with your help, I raised $875 last year and I am determined to meet that once again!
Thank you for coming along for the ride.
