The Valley Harvest Marathon is a signature event in the Valley during the Thanksgiving weekend now in its 30th year!

How natural to have a Harvest Marathon during Thanksgiving weekend in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia - heart of agriculture, apple capital, and winery centre of Atlantic Canada.

Event includes:

Please note, strollers, baby joggers, baby backpacks/carriers and pets are not permitted on the course.

Deferrals and Race Transfers

The Valley Harvest Marathon is proud to offer registration deferment to the following year, in lieu of our no refund policy. A confirmed and paid registration can be cancelled for any reason up to 5:00PM on Wednesday, Oct. 5th, 2022 and carried forward to the 2023 race year. Refunds are not permitted. Participants who wish to take advantage of the deferral policy will be required to pay a fee of $17.50 + HST upon registering the next year.

The Valley Harvest Marathon also offers the option to transfer a race registration. Transfers are subject to a fee of $1.95 + HST.

Transfers can be completed until 5:00PM on Tuesday, September 20th, 2022.

Virtual Run - Race Kit Pick Up Closed

A Virtual Run can be completed from any location you choose. You can run, jog or walk on the road, the trail or on the track. Available distances are 5KM, 10KM, Half Marathon, Full Marathon and Ultra Marathon (50KM). You will be able to pick up your race kit prior to race weekend at Kit Pick Up - TBD. After you have completed your run and uploaded confirmation of your time you will receive your digital Finisher Certificate!

Virtual Run - Race Kit Mailed Closed

A virtual run can be completed from any location you choose. You can run, jog or walk on the road, the trail or the track. Available Distances are 5KM, 10KM, Half Marathon, Full Marathon and Ultra Marathon (50KM). Your race kit will be mailed to you prior to race weekend if you register by 5PM on September 19, 2022. Please ensure you provide a complete mailing address. After you have completed your run and uploaded your time you will receive your digital Finisher Certificate!

Youth Run Closed

  • Registration open in September! The Youth Run will take place the afternoon of Saturday, October 8th, 2022 between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
