RMHC Alberta supports families seeking vital medical treatment for their sick or injured child. Over 65% of Canadians live outside of a city centre with a hospital, and must travel long distances for medical reasons. Our Houses in Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, and Medicine Hat provide a home-away-from-home for families, while allowing them the gift of staying together during one of life's most difficult times. A Ronald McDonald House will save families hundreds to thousands of dollars on accommodation, transportation, meals, laundry, parking, and so much more. Having a Ronald McDonald House close to the hospital is an important part of family-centred care.

  • Participants who register prior to June 20th will receive their package prior to July 18th (*this only applies to a paid registration). Participants who register after June 20th may receive their packages after the event.

HOW TO COMPLETE THE RACE

• Complete a run/walk/ride distance of your choice between July 18-24th.
• Complete your activity wherever you want! Outside, on the treadmill, park, or pathways...the choices are endless!

COMPLETION

• We encourage 2022 participants to share your journey!
  • Post selfie photo/video taken during or after on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter
  • Post route/time on social media using GPS Apps like Strava, Nike Plus, etc.
  • Fire up a Facebook Live and invite your friends & family to a 'watch party'
  • Set up a Facebook fundraiser with a donate button to your campaign

If you registered before June 20th, race packages will be mailed out prior to the run. If you signed up after June 20th you may receive your packages after the event.

With the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, please be sure to exercise safety and caution when participating in this event. We encourage all participants to follow the guidelines set out by Alberta Health Services and restrictions outlined by the Alberta provincial government.
