The Ronald McDonald House in Calgary was home to us last summer while we awaited the arrival of our baby boys, and continued to be our home after their birth as Jacob remained in the NICU. It is where Nelson spent his first nights “home” from the hospital, had his first bath, and where I recovered from surgery. Leaving Jake in the hospital was one of the hardest things I’ve had to do, but thanks to the Ronald McDonald House, we were able to be with him every day. The necessity of being away from home was scary and it was tough, but I am forever grateful for the opportunity to have stayed at the Ronald McDonald House. Please consider contributing to this fundraiser and helping a parent through one of the toughest times of their life - they too will be forever grateful.
