The Crystal Lake Half Marathon Performance Training Program is back in 2022 to help you achieve all your goals going into race day. Coach Megan Sloan of Smith Physical Therapy + Running Academy is here to help educate you on the best way to train for the Crystal Lake Half Marathon. The program will include:
*12 weeks of personalized training plans sent directly to you, starting June 13th
*Group Sessions that meet once a week (Wednesday's at 5:30pm) that include:
- Run Technique Training from Coach Denise Smith & Coach Megan Sloan
- Strength Training from Kelly Tafoya, Personal Trainer
- Nutrition Consultation/Guidance from Registered Dietician Rachael Costello
- Yoga/Stretch sessions from Carrie Tomasello, certified Yoga Instructor
- Mental Performance Coaching from Emily Kunash, licensed counselor of Next Level Counseling & Wellness

I signed up for the CL half-marathon training program with Megan in 2021. I found the entire program to be very helpful in preparing for the half and for a full marathon I was running later in the year! The program contains a ton of useful information on running technique, nutrition, stretching, psychology, etc. and Megan prepares a running schedule, actively adjusting it based on your progress and feedback each week.
