A kid focused event for the whole family to enjoy on 27 November 2022. Hosted by Khandallah School but open to all!
This is a fun run/walk/skip/dance up to the summit of Mt Kaukau, followed by food and family fun back on the school grounds. It’s all about participation and giving it a go!
We want to get the kids to the top, so we can celebrate them at the bottom.
Registrations are now open to anyone aged between 5 to 15 years. Children under 8 must be accompanied by a support person over the age of 16.
Registration $25.00 per participant. Additional children from the same family only $20 each. Click +ADD ANOTHER REGISTRANT to add multiple people to your registration
On the day
9:00am to 9:45am registration - race bib from Kowhai rooms 7 & 8 (this year your bib will have your timing chip)
9:45am - compulsory event safety briefing and warm up. top court, outside easyswim pool.
10:00am - kids’ kaukau challenge begins.
12:30am prize giving - on the top court.
9:00am - cafe opens in the hall with easymoves challenge course for the pre schoolers.
11am to 1.30pm - food and family fun in the school grounds.
What you must bring
All participants must wear covered in shoes during the event. The track can get slippery so we strongly recommend shoes with a good tread suitable for walking. The weather conditions on Mt Kaukau can change quickly. All participants must have a thermal top and clothing provisions for rain/wind
