Boomerang Trail Run

A trail run you can tailor to your own goals!

For our 2023 run participants will be doing the "Gnaremoob", otherwise known as the same Boomerang route but in reverse!

Challenge yourself on our 7km+ trail to complete as many loops as you can in 2, 4 or 6 hours. Set in the beautiful hills of Batawa, Ontario, our chill trail run is designed to get you outside moving, in a relaxed & supportive environment!

This is a self-supported run. There will be a bag drop for you to use as your personal aid station. Please bring everything you will require to run. (meaning: please bring all your race and post-race nutrition).

We will have water and Tailwind available at our aid station approx halfway through the course. NOTE: We are a cup-less event. Our volunteers will be happy to help refill your bladders (hydration packs), water bottles or handhelds.


Terrain:
Participants can expect to encounter hills, rocks, roots, sticks, mud and bugs. There is one road crossing. Runners will cross at their own risk!

Trails at times are wide enough for two to run side by side and at other sections reduced to a single file track. So please come as a courteous human being. A simple "on your left" or "excuse me" ought to do the trick.

The course will be marked but no mile markers. You will pass our aid station once in the 7km loop. (Only water and Tailwind will be available).

Kit Pick Up
Details will be emailed to participants closer to event date.


Timing/Cheating/Etc
At the start and end of each loop participants must check in at our timing table. There will be a universal clock by which all participants will be timed and recorded. Times will be posted to our Facebook page following race day.

And cheaters only cheat themselves. There are no placement medals, but better, self satisfaction of running a race well!

Please remember we are not a Boston or UTMB qualifier. We're just here to have fun. The only competition should be being a better you than you were yesterday!


Refunds/Deferrals/Changes
NO refunds or deferrals for any reason.

If you are unable to make it you may give your spot to someone else, but contact us immediately to make these changes. No changes after June 3rd 2023.


Other vital stuff
Be in the moment. Please leave the headphones, ear buds, etc, at home.

There will be a porta potty on site. No change rooms or dressing rooms.


All registrants will receive awesome race swag and a participant medal - we're working on details!
