My Story…
Hi there,
My name is Logan Hargreaves. I am running in the Winnipeg Police Half Marathon in memory of my grandfather George Hargreaves who passed away in August 2020 from cancer.
This event is very important to my family and I. My grandfather was a member of the Winnipeg Police Service for over 25 years. My parents have been on the race committee for the past 18 years and my brother and I have been a part of this race for as long as I can remember. My mother was even volunteering when she was pregnant with me!
This race means many things to many people. For our family, it was a way to fight cancer alongside my grandfather and contribute to the community he cared about.
