Sal’s Gym Flint and the Crim Fitness Foundation present the Strongest Mile, Atwood Series, CrossFlint 5k Challenge, and Barbell and Brews! This year there will be the opportunity to participate in 4 functional fitness events starting in May and running through October. In order to make these events a success, we need YOU!
What To Expect at Barbells and Brews
Event 1:
Teams will complete 60 Clean & Jerks for time (65/95)
Score is time
Event 2:
Clean Complex: Partners will complete (3) consecutive AMRAPS on a 10 minute running clock:
AMRAP 2 Minutes: 1 Deadlift, 2 Hang Power Cleans, 3 Front Squats at (55/75)
-Partners must complete 10 total complexes to advance to next round-
AMRAP 3 Minutes: 1 Deadlift, 2 Hang Power Cleans, 3 Front Squats at (75/95)
-Partners must complete 10 total complexes to advance to next round-
AMRAP 5 Minutes: 1 Deadlift, 2 Hang Power Cleans, 3 Front Squats at (95/135)
The teams score is combined total amount of complexes completed!
Event 3:
Teams will have 15 minutes to build to a heavy 5 rep max Floor Press. Total score will be each partners' weight for a heavy set of 5 combined.
