It is hard to believe that it has been 17 years since Peter had pancreatic cancer. Below is an article recently profiling our participation in this event.
Profile: "This week’s shout-out goes to Peter Parsons, Susan Wilcox and her mother, Juanita! It has been 17 years since Peter was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer AND 15+ years since Peter has been cancer-free! Since then, team Parsons/Wilcox has been participating in the Annual Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Walk/Run/Bike. Each year Susan, Peter and Juanita raise over $1,000.00, to help support our programs! We’re also lucky to have Peter and his brother John provide live entertainment each year, since they started coming! It would not be the same without the Parsons/Wilcox family! We were also able to have Peter participate in our first National Pancreatic Cancer Awareness video over 11 years ago. Thank you to Peter, Susan, Juanita and John for the past 15 years of support!"
