JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Our strength lies in our exclusive focus and singular influence on the worldwide effort to end T1D.

Team JDRF participants join in on the fun of the Pittsburgh Marathon through miles, medals, and most importantly moments! This is your moment to fundraise and help turn type one into type none! There’s something for everyone at this event. When you join Team JDRF, we’re committed to supporting you before and throughout the race weekend. Know that every step you take brings us closer to our finish line—a world without T1D.

When you join Team JDRF at any package level you will receive:

Full Marathon  

  • Raise $100 and receive the Team JDRF performance t-shirt
  • Raise $300 and receive the Team JDRF Race Day Singlet
  • Raise $500 and receive a full discount on your registration fee

Half Marathon 

  • Raise $100 and receive the Team JDRF performance t-shirt
  • Raise $300 and receive the Team JDRF Race Day Singlet
  • Raise $400 and receive a full discount on your registration fee

Marathon Relay Team

  • Raise $100 (individually) and receive the Team JDRF performance t-shirt

  • Raise $1,000 (as a team) and receive a full discount on your registration fee
