Our story…
Team Tough Cookie is in honor of Brooke Townshend - a JMU Duke, former bartender at Mango's in Bethany Beach, and elementary school teacher.
Brooke was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in December of 2023. She has since undergone a double mastectomy and 8 rounds of chemotherapy. Now she is healthy, planning her wedding with her fiancé Paolo, and ready to raise awareness for this amazing cause!
