This is a fundraising swim for the South Shore!

Celebrate clean, healthy water on the South Shore of PEI with an open-water swim. The event benefits The South Shore Watershed Association, a non-profit that works to protect over 100 km of coastal water and streams.

On Saturday, August 24th at 12pm Noon, we will be sending swimmers out into the bay at Victoria-by-the-Sea with a kayaker for a 1 km swim. We welcome all levels of swimmers! Registration includes a free membership to SSWA for one full year.

You must register a kayaker or paddleboarder to accompany you on your swim. We are asking for a $5 registration fee, but they do not have to fundraise. Please contact us if you do not have a support kayaker, as we will be able to provide a limited number. Wetsuits, lifejackets and personal swim bouys are permitted but not required.

Fun swim in the bay. There will be a buoy set out at 250 m and 500 m-You can swim 1 k, or .5k!
