Join us for our 7th annual Brighter Futures 5K Run/Walk, benefiting Kids' Chance of PA!

This 5K is a professional, chip-timed event on the Lancaster Junction Recreation Trail. The crushed stone trail is flat, shaded, and scenic.

All proceeds from the 5K directly support the Friends of Pam Reynolds Memorial Scholarship, part of Kids' Chance of PA's named scholar partner program.

Race Amenities

  • Goody bag if pre-registered by 10/24
  • Door prizes (must be present to win)
  • Water station, restrooms and free parking
  • Pre-race coffee and post-race refreshments

5K In-Person Awards

  • 1st Male/Female Overall Winners: $100
  • 2nd Male/Female Overall Winners: $50
  • 3rd Male/Female Overall Winners: $25

Recognition for top three male/female finishers in age groups: 19 & under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+

You must be present to receive your award--they will not be mailed.


5K Race - Virtual Option

Want to participate but can't make it on November 9th? You can still take part virtually! Just select the virtual option during registration. Virtual participants won't receive swag bags or awards, but if you submit your time by Monday, November 11th, you will be entered into a drawing for an Amazon gift certificate.
