The Fort Zumwalt Education Foundation was founded on November 10, 2005. The purpose of a foundation is to raise funds through private donations, employee contributions, fundraisers and other special events to support educational programs and projects which are not within the budgetary guidelines of a school district. Currently the Foundation is raising money to fund our Grow Your Own Teacher Program. This is a loan forgiveness program where our own Fort Zumwalt graduates may apply for $3,000.00 per semester to assist with college expenses if they agree to obtain certification in a high needs area. In exchange those graduates will return to teach in the Fort Zumwalt School District. The Fort Zumwalt Education Foundation appreciates your support and contributions to this organization!
