My Story…
I am participating on behalf of our loving parents, Mr. and Mrs. George and Ida Yellowknee of Bigstone Cree Nation, Wabasca, Alberta. Both dad and mom lived with diabetes but managed it through healthy eating mostly of wild meats, game, fish and garden goods as well has holistic medicines. Mom was a traditional healer. My family is donating some cash to the Diabetes walk and we are proud that Bigstone Cree Nation health commission is doing this walk. Kinanaskomtinan.
