With the mission of Business and Professional in mind and understanding that women's economic empowerment cannot be fully realized if women are struggling to find, stay in and afford housing. The housing crisis in Hastings & Prince Edward County, as across Canada and the globe, is impacting us all, but none more than vulnerable, marginalized and racialized women.
...And so our Priority Theme through 2027 is women's access to safe and affordable housing. Whether that's in Long Term Care or Emergency Housing, across a lifteime, women are disproportionately affected by the housing crisis.
