My Story…
Hello friends,
Distress Centres of Greater Toronto provides crisis intervention for people in distress as well as peer support for survivors of suicide loss. Their programs were a lifeline to me during the darkest times I faced after losing our incredible Angie two years ago.
DCGT is hosting the fourth annual Walk to End Suicide on Saturday, September 6th. The goals of the Walk are to:
- raise awareness about suicide
- memorialize the people we’ve already lost
- reduce stigma surrounding mental health and illness
- raise critically needed funds to support life affirming programs
I’m participating in the Walk again this year and am grateful for any support that you’re able to give.
Much love,
Nathan
