My Story…
It has been a privilege to work with our local Shelter, Alice House, for over 10 years.
They work tirelessly to provide safe housing and support programs to women and children fleeing intimate partner violence and doing the hard work to rebuild their lives. I love that the money we raise goes to a local organization that helps support people in our community.
Seeing people come together at an event like the night light walk also raises awareness around intimate partner violence. How to recognize it and how to support someone in your life who may find themselves in a controlling, abusive situation.
