Our story…

It's the 12th annual Sousaphone 5k with the Marching Illini Sousaphones! We're raising money for Crisis Nursery by running the Christie Clinic 5k with our sousaphones on! Feel free to join us, with or without the sousaphone, or just donate to the fundraiser!

Crisis Nursery creates an "Island of Safety" dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and neglect by providing 24-hour emergency care for children and support to strengthen families in crisis. They have served the Champaign-Urbana community since 1983 with no fees or income requirements.
