My Story…

Hi Friends,

I'm running the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon this June on behalf of an organization near and dear to my heart, Mentor North!

I've been a mentor for almost two a half years and what a rewarding experience it's been. The work this organization is doing in the Twin Ports is second to none - pairing youth seeking mentorship with community members with similar interests. I truly believe they are aiding in shaping the future of our area and beyond!

A few details about my match - my mentee is soon to be 15 years old and lately we've enjoyed watching our favorite movies at the local Duluth 10 theater, finding the best restaurant in town, discussing new "drip" (clothes/shoes) we want to buy, shooting some hoops when the weather permits, and listening to music.

I'm creating this page in hopes that you will consider donating to such a worth organization. Any amount helps as I work to reach my goal of $400 by race day (June 21).
