My Story…
Why I’m Running Grandma’s Marathon for Mentor North
I’m running Grandma’s Marathon not just for the challenge, but for a cause that truly matters to me—raising $500 for Mentor North. As someone who deeply believes in the power of guidance, community, and showing up for others, I know firsthand how one caring adult can change the trajectory of a young person’s life.
Mentor North creates intentional, meaningful mentoring relationships for youth across the Northland. At a time when so many young people are facing uncertainty, isolation, and limited access to positive role models, this work couldn’t be more important.
Running 26.2 miles is tough, but it’s nothing compared to the challenges many of these youth face daily. If my feet can help pave a path to more mentors, more moments of connection, and more hope—I’m all in. Your support helps fund programming, training, and outreach to make these life-changing matches possible.
Let’s make each mile matter. Thank you for believing in this mission with me.
