My Story
Hello everyone!
This will be my 11th year running the Sporting Life 10k! My goal has not changed since 2014 and remains the same – raise enough money to send a child with cancer to Campfire Circle (formally Camp Ooch)!
I hope to raise $2500 to send a kid to camp for one full week! Think of all the great experiences that could be had in one week, all while still receiving lifesaving treatment on-site at camp!
While I never got to meet my cousin Tanner I have been told that Camp Ooch was such an amazing experience, and I hope to provide the opportunity for another child to experience the joys camp has to offer and the chance to have fun and be a kid.
So, if you are able, I am asking for YOUR help in fundraising. Any amount is appreciated, and I would greatly appreciate it if you shared this fundraising page with friends and family.

For over 40 years Campfire Circle has provided play-based experiences through our in-hospital, community, and overnight camps for kids with cancer or serious illness and their families. We empower kids to take back their childhood, regardless of their medical diagnosis.
Now, more than ever, kids with serious illness and their families need moments of joy, connection, and healing.
