My Story
In 2011, I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. At 10 years old a diagnosis like this changes a child’s life forever. I am thankful that Campfire Circle found me and turned my diagnosis from a negative to a positive.
I also had the opportunity to work for Campfire Circle as an Intern and Events staff. Being able to give back to camp was a full circle moment and allowed me to experience camp from another perspective.
Campfire Circle gave me the gift of positivity, bravery and friendship. As a camper alumni, I look back at my time as a camper as some of my best moments. I am eternally grateful for the memories camp gave me during the hardest time of my life.

Help deliver healing through happiness to kids with cancer or serious illness and their families.
For over 40 years Campfire Circle has provided play-based experiences through our in-hospital, community, and overnight camps for kids with cancer or serious illness and their families. We empower kids to take back their childhood, regardless of their medical diagnosis.
Now, more than ever, kids with serious illness and their families need moments of joy, connection, and healing.
