Our story…
We are a child care community that are passionate about the children in our care, and fighting cancer. We unfortunately have had the experience of losing children in our care to cancer. We, as a community, have worked together to fundraise each year to help the research advance in the hopes that we will never have to lose another child to this disease.
Description
Hello! Our team is lacing up in support of the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO) to help make a meaningful impact in childhood cancer care, both in our community and beyond.
POGO works tirelessly to ensure that every child and family affected by childhood cancer has access to the best possible care and support. We’re fortunate to have a POGO Clinic right here at the Grand River Hospital, providing invaluable resources to children and their families in treatment.
We invite you to consider making a donation—either as part of our team or as an individual contribution. Every donation will be reflected in our team’s overall goal.
On behalf of the children and youth currently undergoing treatment or follow-up care, as well as the many survivors facing late effects from their cancer treatments, thank you for being their champion and supporting this crucial cause!
