This November, I will be running the Philadelphia Half Marathon as a part of the AACR Runners for Research Team in honor of my dad, Chris Morin, who passed suddenly in 2017 from colorectal cancer.
June 13th, 2025 marks 8 years since my father lost his battle to colon cancer. These past 8 years have been some of the most challenging years, but also years of growth and change. My father instilled a love of sports and challenging yourself within my brother and I. I decided the best way to honor him this year would be to raise money to help others in their fight against cancer. Research is so important for improving care and treatment for cancer patients.
