My Story…
Our Mom had a pulmonary embolism this past December in a small town on the West coast of Canada and despite wonderful Dr.'s and nurses, equipment was limited to confirm her diagnosis and certainly for her treatment. Mom was transported to a larger centre with the equipment needed, wonderfully treated and is now miraculously earth side for more time, hugs and memory making moments. We are truly GRATEFUL!
I am inspired to support local hospitals and their amazing staff to ensure they have as many resources as possible to support urgent care. We never think about it until we need it! It may not be for you, but a family member, colleague or neighbour.
