My Story…
My pap, Paul, passed away in October after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. In the final years of his life, one of his favorite things to do was take long walks around his neighborhood streets. He covered a lot of miles, so it only feels right to do the same in his honor.
I will be participating in the Pittsburgh Marathon Relay and hope to raise $500 to support the Alzheimer's Association, a leading organization dedicated to Alzheimer's research, care, and support. Their mission helps families like ours by working to find prevention methods, treatments, and an eventual cure for the disease.
My pap will always be the person I admire most. He was endlessly generous and hardworking, and I'm so grateful to have had him in my life. If you're able, I'd truly appreciate your support as I run in his memory.
