Why Grandma's?
Running is how I get a handle on my fluctuating weight that has been a struggle for many years. Running Grandma's half marathon has been a goal of mine for several years and now that I am 30, I am ready to claim that victory!
Why Union Gospel Mission?
Feeding the hungry is one of the things the Bible calls us to again and again. Jesus shows us that true love is taking care of those in need and I have witnessed Union Gospel Mission do that. Not only do they feed the hungry meals regularly, but they even feed a loved one of mine who struggles with mental and physical health and relies on Union Gospel Mission for this daily need.
Although $450 is what I need to run Grandma's, I am hoping to surpass that goal for an organization that really shows how much our God loves us!
Description
Union Gospel Mission is a non-profit located in downtown Duluth that aims to provide food, shelter, and hope to neighbors in the Northland.
