My Story…
This June, I have the privilege of running my first ever marathon - a lifelong dream since I laced up my first pair of running shoes when I was 15 years old. I have never been a great runner but I have a passion to challenge myself, and this will be my biggest challenge yet.
I am running to support Animal Allies Humane Society, a Duluth-based animal rescue. My dog, Yogi, is a former rescue dog and he is more than a dog - closer to a son. I want to help give other animals the same second chance he got.
My goal is to raise $500 - and every step in the 26.2 mile race are for the rescues and the wagging tails still waiting for their forever homes.
