Help Grant raise money

This year, I am running the Philadelphia Marathon with AACR (American Association for Cancer Research)—and every mile carries deep personal meaning. In October 2025, I was diagnosed with Polycythemia Vera (PV), a rare blood cancer, and underwent surgery at the end of November. This marathon marks one year since my diagnosis and the beginning of my journey living with PV. Crossing that finish line will represent resilience, healing, and the power of moving forward with intention.

I am also running for my dad, who was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in 2025 and continues to battle with extraordinary strength and grace. He lives by a simple but powerful mantra: “Say thank you (Arigato) 1,000 times a day—because if you do, you won’t have time to complain.” His unwavering gratitude and positivity, even in the face of unimaginable challenges, has transformed how I approach my own life and diagnosis. I carry his words with me every step of this race.

Working in cancer research, I have dedicated my career to advancing science that gives patients and families more time—more moments, more memories, more hope.
