My Story…
I'm so excited to be training for my FIFTH marathon! While I train and prepare, I want to make every mile count. That’s why I’m fundraising for the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), because I know what it’s like to lose a loved one to cancer. My hope and prayer is that through my fundraising efforts, other families won’t have to experience what ours has through the loss of our MeeMee.
I truly believe in prayer and science, and I believe we can change the future of cancer. The AACR supports vital research across more than 200 types of cancer, driving progress toward new treatments, groundbreaking discoveries, and restored hope for patients and families.
