My Story…
I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in the 2026 Philadelphia Marathon! I'm raising money to benefit the American Association for Cancer Research as part of team Philly Fight Club.
This race will be my second ever in Philly, my fifth marathon ever, and my first time experiencing Philadelphia Marathon.
While running brings me ridiculous amounts of joy, the opportunity to raise money for an organization researching cancer is meaningful to me. Cancer runs in my family. It's affected an immediate family member who fought and beat it. It's affected two uncles who lost their fight far too young. It took my Grandfather, a WWII veteran, who suffered pain at age 87 that no one deserves - especially not after a life of service.
The AACR has awarded a mind-boggling $425 million in funding to more than 800 scientists researching cancer. At a time when funding for the sciences is under attack, funding for this mission is, in many ways, more important than ever.
I'm grateful for whatever contribution you can make to help me meet this goal. Whether it's $5, $50, or $100, all of it helps, and I'm eternally grateful, as are the researchers who have dedicated their lives to saving the lives of others.
